I forgot my camera, of course, so I took all of my photos on my phone. I actually didn't take very many at all, which was a nice change. Sometimes all I can remember of a place was how it looked through a screen, because I'm so focused on capturing the moment in time...instead of experiencing it. Here we go:
the view from where I stay
Neil Davis at Rockwood Music hall
Zane Carney was celebrating his debut EP
Aiden Moore at Rockwood Music Hall
The Whiskey Gentry at the Highline Ballroom
THE Butch Walker at the Highline Ballroom
It's probably obvious that I focused on seeing a lot of live music. I was just in that kind of mood and SO many great people were playing. I've seen Zane Carney before and I am a huge fan. It was awesome to be there for his album release show. Butch Walker was CRAZY AMAZING. I'm totally seeing him when he comes to Baltimore.
Traveling always makes home feel so much more...homey. I'm about to walk down to get some Chipotle and I'm pretty darn excited to feel a slight chill in the breeze. Fall and Winter in the city are going to be amazing. I can't wait.
